Coronavirus is on pretty much everyone’s lips and in everyone’s ears. We are bombarded by information, some true…some false on social media and the news. It has swept across the world and we are all, in each country in some way affected by this virus.
It has become clear that there is a lot of fear and anxiety about Covid-19. Some fears and anxiety have been unexpected like the fear of scarcity which is evident by panic buying that has become a terrible problem in some countries just to name an example. The fear of financial instability as people may need to self-quarantine for 14 days or longer. Some may have difficulty getting to and from works as there is a requirement to avoid groups of people at bus stops, underground stations, train stations the like. There are concerns around businesses suffering a financial burden which results in job losses. Then there is the fears around contracting the virus, fears around protecting yourself, family and friends. There might be fears that is very specific to you and your situation and needs.

Lately, I feel like my phone use has been out of control. My attention keeps being occupied by emails, messages and app notifications and further leads to endless scrolling on social media. All of these distractions, as well as the pretty bright colours on our phones, add to the stimulation of the reward centres of our brain. So the more we look at our phones and engage, therefore rewarding the brain with bright colours and content we are drawn to, the more we want!
This blog post looks at some ways of identifying emotions around other people’s overuse of their phones and also identifying your own overuse of your phone. I provide a tapping script that will help you and guide you through the feelings of phone distractions.
TRAUMA IS NOT YOUR FAULT AND HEALING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Most of us have had experiences of difficult people in our lives that have a negative effect on our lives. However, understanding that these people have most likely experiences trauma that needs to be healed, can be difficult when you feel victimized by someone’s behaviour.
It is so important for people to take the time to heal their trauma to improve their own lives but also to stop hurting people around them.
This tapping script is to help people work through their feelings of being negatively affected by someone that haven’t yet had the insight or courage to heal their traumatized hearts.

This meditation requires you to reflect on the things that may be holding you back in your life. This might be elements of your career, relationships, finances or elements of the self that you wish to change. Write it down on a list and then start the meditation when you are ready.
